On-Call Internal and External Painting & Related Repairs for Historic Sites within the County of Passaic The County of Passaic owns several properties that are listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of Historic Places. All work done on these properties must conform to the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic. Each year the County undertakes several capital level improvement and general maintenance projects. Projects vary in scope and are based on programmatic planning for the calendar year. The purpose of this bid is to provide pricing for general interior and exterior painting and associated repairs that covers and is not limited to finishes, architectural features, ceilings, trim, windows, etc. For this bid, the following sites and centers are considered: o Dey Mansion Washington's Headquarters; o Passaic County Arts Center at the John W. Rea House; o Passaic County Archaeological Center at the Harry S. Vreeland House; o Passaic County Military Heritage Museum at the Schuyler-Colfax House; o Lambert Castle; o Lambert Tower; o Vanderhoef House; o Van Riper-Hopper House; o Van Duyne House; o The Clifton Museum; and o County Court House & U.S. Customs Building The County of Passaic wishes to procure pricing for on-call services for internal and external painting and related repairs of various historic sites noted above for the period of two (2) years. These quotes are to be applied to paintings project undertaken by the County on an assignment basis. Contracts from this proposal will be issued on an "as-requested" assignment basis and WILL NOT result in an immediate contract. The Board further reserves the right to reject any and all proposals in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-13.2 and to waive minor informalities when authorized to do so under the law.
