Site work and renovation of a transportation facility in Miami, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

New Central Base AOA (Airside Operating Area) The proposed Construction Gate is at the intersection of McLaughlin Drive and the Commercial Vehicle entrance into the Airport from southbound Le Jeune Road. The primary function of the gate would be to facilitate construction access during the implementation of the Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The new gate will work in conjunction with the existing Southeast Gate (Bldg. 3064). The proposed program requires dedicate lane going into Airside, one lane coming out back to the land side, and one reversable lane. The facility includes air conditioning, bathrooms, backup generator, canopy, bollards, gate arms system with all the necessary components, bus shelters on both sides of the facility, and all the communications requirements. The intersection will also be redesigned, including mast arms and new left turn lanes. A General Contractor License is required. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise - Construction participation goal for this project is: 14.53% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid in a manner required by the Instructions to Bidders. No Bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of Bids for a period of one hundred and eighty (180) days. The County reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and irregularities, to reject all Bids, or to re-advertise for Bids. Pre bid meeting description: The Site Visit will be held following the Pre-Bid Conference. Any person visiting the Ramp level must hold an MDAD ID badge. If the person does not have a badge, then the request for temporary badge shall be made 72 hours in advance by submitting a copy of the driver license, date of birth, and the last four (4) numbers of their SS number. A maximum of two (2) visitors per company will be allowed to participate in the Site Visit. The following is required to be approved to participate: 1. Liability Waiver Requests to participate in the Site Visit should be sent via email before August 12, 2024, to the County's Procurement Contracting Officer Cristina Halak (email: Cgorrita@flymia.com) and copy to Clerk of the Board (email: clerk.board@miamidade.gov). The following information should be included in the email: 1. Names of the individual(s) and Company participating in the Site Visit. 2. Liability Waiver The County reserves the right solely to determine who is approved for the Site Visit. All questions shall be in writing and shall be directed to the Procurement Contracting Officer, Cristina Halak (email: CGorrita@flymia.com) and must be received by September 3, 2024, in order to be given consideration. Bidders must file a copy of the questions (as well as any other communications) with the Clerk of the Board (email: clerkbcc@miamidade.gov.
