The Town of Pittston is seeking sealed proposals for Ditching and Road Repair on the following road: Crocker Road, Pittston (0.5 miles). On Crocker Road work to be completed: 1. 2310 feet of ditching (includes both sides of the dirt section of road) 2. Filling in ditch lines to meet average depth of 3' 3. Install Riprap on 1155 feet of ditch line (north side of the dirt road) 4. Level 4 inches deep of 1 1/2" minus x 12' wide x 1155 feet of dirt road 5. Install 24" inch cross culvert for improved drainage 6. Truck off and properly dispose of materials removed from the ditch 7. Resource all materials from town pit when possible 8. Traffic Control where necessary - provide for the safe and legal passage of traffic on the roadway. Bidders shall direct all technical or engineering questions, including requests for explanations or interpretation, in writing to the Town. All questions must be in writing/facsimile and must be received at least five (5) business days before bid opening. A question and answer sheet will then be provided to all interested proposers who have email addresses on file. Any addendums will be published on the Town's website online. The Town of Pittston reserves the right to reject any and all bids or proposals, decline to proceed with the selection of any candidates, to request additional qualifications and to make inquiries as may be necessary to verify qualifications. Nothing in this document shall require the Town of Pittston to proceed with any of the identified services stated in this request for proposals. If the Town of Pittston enters a contract for services, the Town shall have the exclusive authority to make decisions regarding any project or work readiness, compliance, and completion.
