** As of September 12, 2024 project has been awarded to J.A. Johnson Paving Company with an awarded amount of $1,756,796.46.** 2024 Road Program Improvements. Subcontracting Portions of the Work Will Be Allowed Pursuant to Section 108.01 of the "Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction", Illinois Department of Transportation, Latest Edition. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bidder or subcontractor who, in the opinion of the Owner or the Engineer, does not have adequate experience, personnel or equipment to perform the work in a timely, efficient and satisfactory manner. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid made payable to the Village of Norridge shall accompany the bid. Personal checks will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof and waive any informality or any irregularities or defects in any or all proposals and to accept that bid which in its opinion is in the best interest of the Owner. Any such decision shall be considered final. It is the intent of the Owner to award a contract to the lowest responsible, responsive bidder. Work to include but not be limited to removal and replacement of sidewalk and curb along with roadway surface and parking lot removal/HMA replacement, drainage improvements, structure adjustments, and restoration work at various locations within the Village.
