The City of Sacramento, Department of Utilities is soliciting bids to: obtain welding supplies and utilize the results of this bid to establish blanket purchase orders. Amount(s) of any resulting purchase orders will be set based on departmental spending trends not necessarily on amount of bid. These are estimated quantities and there are no guarantees of order size as stated in the bid document. Bid security can be in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, or a bid bond from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of California. Bid securities will be returned to all except the three lowest bidders within ten days after the opening of all bids. Start/Delivery Date August 2024 Project Duration Contract resulting from this bid shall be effective for a period of 1 (one) year from the date of award with the option of up to four (4) additional one-year extensions not to exceed five years. Estimated Week of Award Notification: August 2024 Estimated Week of Contract Award: August 2024 The City of Sacramento reserves the right to modify the dates and other criteria listed at its sole discretion. Prospective bidders will be notified of any significant changes by addendum issued via the City of Sacramento's online bid portal. All information submitted in or in connection with a bid is submitted under penalty of perjury. The City shall have the right to terminate at any time any Contract awarded pursuant to a bid that contains false information. The return of a signed copy of this bid solicitation shall constitute a promise to supply in accordance with terms and conditions shown herein. All bid submissions become public record. Successful bidders are REQUIRED to submit the necessary certificate(s) of insurance and endorsements as called for in the contract's General Provisions prior to award of the contract
