The Burke County Board of Commissioners is accepting bids for the service, labor & materials required to remove and replace the Gymnasium HVAC System located at the Citizens Park Gymnasium building (102 GA Hwy 24, Waynesboro, GA 30830). Owner has an existing Trane TWA180B300DA 15Ton Split Heat Pump system that needs replacement. INSTALLATION: Contractor to provide and install the systems as detailed below: Equipment:
o Install new Carrier 38AUZT16A0A5 15Ton Heat Pump paired with a 40RUQA16T2A5 AHU with 30KW Auxiliary Heat. System to include Low Ambient Control and Louvered Hail/Coil Guards.
o Contractor is to provide all necessary equipment, disposal of old equipment, Crane Cost, Refrigerant Piping, Refrigerant to be recovered per EPA and current code requirements, condensate drain piping, new disconnect and associated wiring, controls and control wiring, permits and fees, labor, etc. for a complete installation.
o Equipment to have 5 year all parts warranty, 1 year labor warranty. Controls & Owner Training:
o Install new BACnet open control system for new replacement unit AH/HP-2 and the three existing split system units (AH/HP-1, 3 and 4) serving the office area of the facility.
o Equipment must be integrated into the county's existing Carrier iVu Control System. SPECIAL REQUIRMENTS:
o Contractor's bid shall include all electrical requirements for a complete operable system per code.
o Contractor's bid shall include a new electrical disconnect and whip.
o Contractor's warranty shall cover the new equipment and associated work only for a period of 1 year.
o Manufacturer Equipment warranty to cover 5 year all parts including compressor.
o Contractor to recover refrigerant per EPA guidelines.
