All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed in writing to Engineer. Questions received less than three (3) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Bids shall be addressed "City of Ozark, Arkansas, Ozark Water Department, 2910 West Commercial, Ozark, Arkansas 72949" and shall be labeled "Bid for Hillbilly Loop Sanitary Sewer Extension, HWEI Project No. 2024038". Bidders shall include their Arkansas license number on the outside of their sealed bids. Any bid received after the scheduled opening time will be returned unopened. This project includes the installation of approximately 1,200 linear feet of new 8-inch sanitary sewer pipe and seven (7) new manholes. Each Bidder must deposit with their Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must be licensed in conformance with the Arkansas State Licensing Law for Commercial Contractors as defined in Arkansas Code 14- 25-101 et seq. and related statutes. The City of Ozark, Arkansas reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive any informalities and reject any and all Bids. Bids shall remain firm for a period not to exceed 60 days from the Opening Date. Bidders shall inform themselves of all requirements provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Ozark, Arkansas encourages participation of small, minority, and woman owned business enterprises in the procurement of goods, services, and construction, as either a general contractor or subcontractor.
