Work in all phases can generally be performed during the day M-F. However, per the SOW work that generates significant noise, odor, vibration (e.g. core drilling) and any utility shutdowns that are not localized to just the construction area must be performed off-hours to minimize impact to the facility and without cost-increase to the VA. Are contractors able to provide trailers and/or storage boxes A 4a. Not at this time Will the VA provide laydown/storage areas If so, where will they be located A 5a. Is the (1) QCM as a separate individual, required onsite while work is being performed Can the QCM also serve as the site superintendent This affects project costs. Please confirm. 10a. Please see response to question #1. Duties of the SSHO and QCM can be performed by the same person (e.g. the superintendent) provide that person has the necessary qualifications and experience to manage safety and quality control responsibilities on-site.
