Site work and renovation of a civil project in Scarborough, Maine. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

As of October 29, 2024, the project was awarded to Apex Construction but the awarded amount is not available. Summary of Work: Demolish existing dewatering equipment including presses (2), conveyors and compressors; demolish polymer dosing equipment; install new centrifuge dewatering units (2) and appurtenances provided by the Owner; provide and install new polymer dosing equipment; provide and install new sludge conveyors (2); provide and install piping, valves, and other appurtenances to support the solids dewatering improvements; new yard piping for central discharge; temporary sludge handling/dewatering; provide and install HVAC, plumbing, and electrical improvements; provide and install monorail and hoist system for dewatering equipment; miscellaneous building improvements; and other work as shown on the Drawings. Duration: The Project has an expected duration of 280 days. Document notes: Bidding Documents may be examined at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Electronic copies of Bidding Document will only be available and sent via electronic mail to the address on record with a hyperlink to download the documents in portable document format (PDF). In order to be qualified to submit a bid, General Contractors must request a set of electronic contract documents from Underwood Engineers, Inc. Contact Underwood Engineers at (603) 436-6192 or portsmouth@underwoodengineers.com, and provide the necessary contact information. Upon the Issuing Office's receipt of a request to receive bid documents, access to electronic documents will be sent to the prospective Bidder's email. Bid Bond: Bids must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form required in the General Conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids. Funding and Funding Provisions: This Project is not subject to federal funding requirements.
