The City of Irving Capital Improvements Program Department invites Civil Engineers, Multi-Disciplinary Firms, and any other qualified professionals to submit qualification proposals to provide professional services for Pressure Zone Boundary Change Water Improvement Project. The work to be performed under this contract consists of furnishing all concrete, steel, pipe, appurtenances, tools, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary to install complete in place the major work noted below in addition to other bid items identified in this contract. A. One thousand three hundred (+-1,300) LF of 8" PVC water main by open cut B. Two thousand five hundred seventy five (+-2,575) LF of 12" PVC water main by open cut C. Thirty (30) 8" and twenty five (25) 12" gate valves with Boxes The above listed work together with all associated appurtenances and other incidental items to complete this project will be installed in the following locations in the City of Irving: A. Conflans Road, Story Road, Grauwyler Road, W. Pioneer Drive, and Wingren Drive Prospective Bidders are encouraged to make a site visit. The city is currently acquiring permanent and temporary construction easements that are needed to complete the work associated with this project. Pending the sequence of completion for said acquisitions, the Contractor may receive partial and/or delayed notice to proceed with construction. Contractors shall be required to submit TCPs for review and approval a minimum of 14 calendar days prior to implementation of same.
