Description: Maine Federal-Aid Project No. 2468501/WIN: 024685.01 Location: In Cumberland County, the project is located on four of the islands in Casco Bay. Outline of Work: Structural rehabilitation work at the ferry terminals on Chebeague Island, Cliff Island, Great Diamond Island, and Peaks Island. Basis of Award shall be the lowest total base bid for Section 1 Main Items. Question Deadline 10/14/2024 at 12:00 PM ET Project-specific questions using the electronic RFI form should be faxed to (207) 624-3431, attn.: Project Manager Brian Keezer. Questions may be emailed to RFI-Contracts.MDOT@maine.gov with project name and identification number in the subject line. Questions received after Noon of the Monday before bid date (or if the Monday is a holiday, the Friday before) will not be answered. Bidders shall not contact any other MaineDOT staff for clarification of Contract provisions, and MaineDOT will not be responsible for interpretations so obtained. TTY users call Maine Relay 711. Each Bid must be made upon blank forms provided by MaineDOT and accompanied by a bid bond for 5% of the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or U.S. postal money order for 5% of the bid amount, payable to "Treasurer, State of Maine" as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each for 100% of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to compliance with applicable Federal laws and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program requirements as set forth by MaineDOT. MaineDOT hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids. ME DOT - Structural Rehabilitation Work at the Ferry Terminals on Four Island The Contractor agrees to complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract including Extra Work in conformity with the Contract, WIN 024685.01, for the construction of structural rehabilitation at four island ferry terminals in Casco Bay, on Chebeague Island, Cliff Island, Great Diamond Island, and Peaks Island, County of Cumberland, in the State of, Maine. The Work includes construction, maintenance during construction, warranty as provided in the Contract, and other incidental work
