Renovation of a fire / police facility in Ankeny, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 8,618-square-foot fire / police facility.
The City of Ankeny Fire Department is seeking proposals to remove and replace the bay flooring located at the fire station headquarters. The City of Ankeny is seeking a qualified Contractor to remove and replace the existing resin floor coating located at our Fire Station Headquarters. The Contractor will be required to paint stripes on the floor for each of the four vehicle bays. The work area is measured at 8,618 square feet. No additional fees (i.e., fuel surcharges) will be allowed under this contract. Award The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids; to request rebids; to award bids item-by-item, by groups, or "lump sum"; to waive irregularities and technicalities in bids; such as shall best serve the requirements and interests of the City. The selected bid will be awarded based off a combination of pricing, experience, references, and available work capacity. This Request for Bid along with a Letter of Agreement, prepared by the City and signed by the City Mayor, shall become the document that authorizes the contract to begin, assuming the insurance requirements have been met.
