This Request for Tender (the "RFT") is an invitation by the Municipality of West Grey to prospective Bidders to submit bids for the construction of New Water Supply Well. Major activities include: - Install a nominal 305-mm diameter well casing and annular grout seal through the overburden into sound/competent bedrock - Drill and sample a nominal 300-mm diameter borehole to the required depth. - Complete initial well development by surging and air-lift pumping with the drill rig, and complete a caliper survey, a well alignment test by gyroscopic methods, color video survey and a down-hole flow meter survey. - Install a test pump, complete well development and well production tests (step-drawdown and constant rate discharge tests). - Disinfect and cap the completed well. - Abandon an existing 200-mm diameter test well.
