Provide Modification to existing Lift Station Work Include Abandonment of existing Dry Well-Pit Side; Modification of Wet Well-Pit Side to Install New Pumps and Concrete Work, Electrical Connections to the New Control Panel; Upgrade Service from Primary Power to Secondary Power to Include Meter and Disconnect; Replace Damaged Section of Chair Link Fence and Gate. Furnish & Install 2. Remove the existing Generator and Properly Abandon all Electrical Connection 3. Install Air Release Valve Furnish & Install Proposed College Street Lift Station Emergency Upgrades The Contractor is Hereby Advised That Time is of the Essence on This Project and That the Contract Time of 60 Consecutive Calendar Days Total and Noted Restrictions Shall Be Strictly Observed. Liquidated Damages Will Be Assessed if Contract Time is Exceeded. The Contractor May Apply for an Extension of Time in Accordance With the Provisions of the Contract; However, Such an Extension Must Be Approved Prior to the Contract Completion Date to Avoid the Imposition of Liquidated Damages. The Successful Bidder Must Furnish a Performance Bond for One Hundred (100%) of the Bid Amount and a Payment Bond for One Hundred (100%) Percent of the Bid Amount and Must Secure His Bond From a Bonding Company's Representative or Agent in the State of Alabama. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to accept any bid considered advantageous to the Owner.
