Renovation of a mixed-use development in Winfield, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and parking garage.

Award of the bid will occur at the Winfield Township Board of Supervisors 7:00 P.M., August 29, 2024 meeting at 194 Brose Road, Cabot, PA 16023. The office building contains 3,840 square feet (80 ft. by 48 ft.), 480 square feet (24 ft. by 20 ft.) and has a 4/12 roof pitch. The garage building contains 7,200 square feet (60 ft. by 120 ft.) and has a 1/12 roof pitch. The office involves the removal and replacement of the existing shingle roof with a standing seam or other metal or equal roof. The garage project involves the removal and replacement of the existing metal roof with a standing seam or other metal or equal roof. Old roofing shall be removed and disposed of in a lawful manner. Contractor may take old roofing materials for recycling. Identify the warranty period for new roofing material. Roofing shall be attached per manufacturer's specifications with approved fasteners. Ridge vents and all penetration boots shall be provided per the roofing manufacturer. The successful bidder will provide a per unit cost for installation of all items, and the labor rates. Bidders can schedule a time, 7:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday through Thursday to view the building prior to submitting a bid. Questions prior to the bid may be directed to Craig Govan, Roadmaster. Prior to the start of work, the vendor shall furnish to the Township a Certificate of Insurance showing compliance with the following limitations. The vendor further shall maintain such other insurance (with limits as shown below) as shall protect the vendor and the Township from any claims for property damage or personal injury, including death, which may arise out of operations under this contract, and vendor shall furnish the Township with certificates of such insurance minimums below. Insurance coverage shall be maintained until the work has been completed by vendor. Before proceeding with the work, provide insurance: proof of current workers compensation; vendor's public liability insurance, personal injury, including death $250,000.00 for each person and $500,000.00 for each accident; and property damage limits of $500,000.00 for each accident and $1,000,000.00 for the aggregate.
