This project will generally include the following work: upgrades needed to the traffic signals at both intersections (including poles, displays, mounts, cabinets, controllers, power feeds, pull boxes, wiring, etc.). Existing topographical survey information to be supplied by the City of Camrose Complete detailed design for the partial replacement of traffic signal infrastructure at 48 Avenue / 50 Street Complete detailed design for the partial replacement of traffic signal infrastructure at 48 Avenue / 51 Street. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit Proposals for the detailed design, tendering and post-construction components of the partial replacement of traffic signals and associated infrastructure at the intersection of 48 Avenue / 50 Street and 48 Avenue / 51 Street. Prepare drawings and tender documents for signal infrastructure replacements / upgrades. TIMELINE: A Request For Proposals from Engineering Consultants has been issued by the owner. The awarded proponent will; Review all background information associated with the project available in the 2018 Traffic Signal System Assessment Work with City of Camrose staff to confirm the work required. Coordinate required approvals with external utilities and agencies (i.e. Fortis, etc.) Assist the City with tendering and award of contract for the signal infrastructure upgrades. Oversee work of the contractor through construction, commissioning and post-construction phases of the project. Provide the City with record drawings of completed work.
