Site work for a fire / police facility in Hardeeville, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility.

Construction costs are expected to be in the range of $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 SCOPE OF WORK Project consists of securing and installing a new 28 ft. motorized access gate (2 swing gates), control access panel, new speared deterrent fencing, and multiple fencing repairs to existing chain link fencing surrounding the Hardeeville Police Station building. New motorized gate shall consist of (2) independently operating approx. 13' 6" swing gates. Provide motor specifications PRIOR to purchasing new motor as motor needs to be approved by the COH IT Department for compatibility into existing IT system. Gates shall be powered by a "fast acting" electric motor that has the capability to quickly (under 5 seconds) open the swing gate to allow law enforcement for quick exit. Contractor shall provide and install new 8' high bent spear top fencing on both ends of the new gate; securing at building corner. New spear fencing shall NOT be connected to the existing police station building. Contractor shall field verify all dimensions. Contractor shall also repair approx. 270' linear foot of chain link fence. Fence repair shall be consistent on entire project to make physical entry into compound nearly impossible. Areas include but not limited to overflow pond and police station perimeter. Repair or replace as needed existing barbed wire at the top of the existing fencing. Contractor shall provide and install new pedestrian gate in existing 'hole' in the fence. New pedestrian gate shall have new Cipher lock. Contractor shall field verify all dimensions. Award is anticipated on or before Monday, August 26, 2024 between 9:00am - 3:00pm. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Construction costs are expected to be in the range of $40,000.00 - $44,000.00
