Site work for a water / sewer project in Ontario, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Project includes the installation of a new geotextile layer and pond liner in a previously prepared pond. Installation includes liner edge termination trench excavation and backfill. Project also includes modification of an existing manhole as shown on drawings. Project Location 541 Stanton Blvd, Ontario, OR 97914 Allow Electronic Quote: Yes Informal Bid Flag: No 1.Substantial completion of the Work shall be no later than October 1, 2024. Final Completion shall be no later than October 15, 2024. 2.After award of the contract, the Contractor shall contact the ODOT Project Managers to schedule the Work at least ten (10) business days prior to the start of the Work. 3.The Work shall be accomplished on weekdays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Work hours shall exclude weekends and State Holidays, unless specifically requested by the Contractor and approved by the ODOT Project Managers. 4.The Contractor shall coordinate the efforts of all suppliers and Subcontractors and shall maintain orderly progress of the Work, prevent duplication of effort, and ensure proper sequence of operations. 5.The Contractor shall submit to the ODOT Project Managers a list of the contact information for the Contractor's project manager and site superintendent, as well as a list of all Subcontractors and their key representatives. Clean-Up/Conditions of Site 1.The Contractor shall be responsible for keeping the ODOT Project Managers informed of all activity throughout the duration of the Contract. 2.The Contractor shall clean up all worksite debris resulting from construction and remove all excess construction materials and scraps from the Project Location. The Contractor shall broom-clean its work area at the end of each workday and neatly stack materials and debris in a location approved by the Project Managers. Failure to clean the work area up allows the State to perform the necessary clean-up actions and bill the Contractor the direct costs, plus $300.00, to be deducted from the final payment to the Contractor. 3.The Contractor shall protect any materials subject to damage by temperature or other weather conditions. 4.The location for storage of materials, debris, or dumpster at the Project Location shall be approved in advance by the ODOT Project Managers. Disposal facilities, bins, or dumpsters shall not be provided by ODOT. 5.The Contractor shall notify the ODOT Project Managers at least two (2) days in advance of any deliveries. 6.Contractor shall immediately notify the ODOT Project Managers of any damage done by the Contractor to the Project Location, grounds, or adjacent State properties. Damage done by the Contractor shall be repaired to existing conditions as found prior to the commencement of the Work. 7.ODOT shall not be responsible for the security of the Contractor's materials, tools, personal belongings, or equipment on the Project Location. 8.It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure the Work is performed in accordance with Oregon OSHA rules and regulations. 9.Any permits required for the Work are the responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor shall provide copies of permits to the ODOT Project Managers prior to the start of Work. The Contractor shall be responsible for posting all permits at the Project Location in accordance with local jurisdictional requirements. 10.ODOT shall be responsible for contracting with a special inspections firm based upon the list of inspections required by the Architect/Engineer of Record, manufacturer, or jurisdiction. ODOT shall provide contact info for the approved special inspections firm to the Contractor. The Contractor shall be responsible for scheduling special inspections as to not delay the project schedule. The special inspections firm shall be required by contract to provide copies of the special inspections report to ODOT and the Contractor. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for addressing any deficiencies identified during special inspections. 11.The Contractor shall immediately bring to the attention of the ODOT Project Managers any conflicts or issues between existing utilities and the Work. 12.Contractor shall be responsible for making arrangements for temporary utility requirements during the Work and for all related costs. 13.Restroom and drinking water shall be provided by the Contractor.
