Construction of new community park including parking, paving, playground, signs, drinking fountain, drainage and landscaping. Each bid that equals or exceeds $100,000 shall be accompanied by a corporate bid bond or certified check in the amount of at least 5% of the total amount bid for the contract. The bid bond shall be executed by a corporate surety licensed in North Carolina to execute such bonds. Bidders shall comply with all applicable laws regulating the practice of General Contracting as required by the General Statutes of North Carolina that require the Bidder to be properly licensed by the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors when bidding on any project where the bid is $30,000 or more. Installation of underground water line with meter and backflow preventer, sewer line stub, and new stormwater facilities. Selective removal of existing trees, clear and grubbing, and grading.
