The Cape Breton Regional Municipality (CBRM) is presently contemplating an infrastructure upgrade project as part of the 'Capital Infrastructure Renewal Program' for the 2024-25 construction season. This project is in the East Division of CBRM and involves the section of Alexander Street from civic number 186 to the end of the street, the section of Ellsworth Avenue from Ling Street to MacNeil Lane, and the section of New Waterford Highway (Trunk 28) from MacNeils Lane to Samuels Lane in New Waterford, Nova Scotia. TIMELINE: The Cape Breton Regional Municipality requires the services of a qualified Engineering Consultant to complete the design, tendering, construction project management and record drawing development for the identified infrastructure upgrade project involving the installation of a new 150mm water main on Alexander Street as well as a new 200mm water main on Ellsworth Avenue and New Waterford Highway (Trunk 28) from Ling Street to Samuels Lane, New Waterford, Nova Scotia. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
