Renovation of a museum in Spencer, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
**Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 09/04/24 to 09/18/24. The bid opening location was also changed.** a. Roof Areas A, B, and C i. Remove and dispose of the roof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the concrete deck or fully bonded portions of existing vapor retarder. ii.Provide temporary membrane. iii. Provide lightweight insulating concrete (LWIC) system as specified in Section 03 52 16.16 "Lightweight Aggregate Insulating Concrete." iv. Provide base sheet mechanically attached to LWIC. v.Provide a torch applied two-ply modified bitumen roof membrane along with flashings and accessories as specified in Section 07 52 16.13 "Torch Applied Modified Bitumen Roofing." vi. Replace sheet metal flashings and trim as specified in Section 07 62 00 "Sheet Metal Flashings and Trim." vii. Provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. Roof replacement and Structural Repairs Bid Security in the Amount Equal to Not Less Than 5% of the Gross amount of the Bid is Required.
