SNOLAB requires a supplier to provide snow removal services for the SNOLAB surface facility site. The supplier will be expected to provide: all personnel, equipment, vehicles, supplies, etc. It includes but is not limited to the three parking lots, walkways, generator walkways and door entrances. It also includes removal of ice, application of specified de-icing materials, sweeping in the spring and emptying the catch basins after winter. Snow removal is required Monday to Friday, aligning with shift schedules. In case of continuous snowfall contractor expected to be actively managing snow and ice accumulations until end of weather even and bare, ice free and safe conditions are achieved. The intended duration of the contract is for a three-year term with potential to extend two years, commencing on November 1, 2024. But only required during the following months of the year; November 1st to May 1st.
