This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by Centre d'excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat and its participating agencies (CEA FRANCOachat) to prospective respondents to submit quotations for 2025 Pavement Rehabilitation - Access Roadway at Ecole secondaire publique L'Heritage located at 1111 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON K6H 1E1, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The Centre d'excellence en approvisionnement FRANCOachat (CEA FRANCOachat) is a shared service organization providing procurement services for member school boards in the province of Ontario. This competitive procurement process is being completed on behalf of the following school board: Conseil des ecoles publiques de l'Est de l'Ontario, 2445 Saint-Laurent Boulevard,Ottawa (Ontario) K1G 6C3. Hereinafter, the above-named school board are referred to as "Board" unless otherwise specified. The Intent of this RFQ is to obtain quotations from respondents to complete 2025 Pavement Rehabilitation - Access Roadway at Ecole secondaire publique L'Heritage located at 1111 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON K6H 1E1 for a Stipulated Price contract in the form of CCDC 2-2020 with Supplementary Conditions, in accordance with all RFQ Documents and Terms and Conditions outlined herein (the "Contract"). CEA FRANCOachat recognizes that this solicitation is being released during uncertain times with respect to trade between Canada and the United States. Without limiting any of the other requirements of this RFQ, bidders are expected to submit pricing in the bidding system (Bonfire) that is inclusive of all custom duties or import tariffs, as may be applicable and actually in effect as at the time of bid submission, relevant to any part of the work or provisions of Deliverables under the Contract, including from any subcontractors or suppliers. Respondents are directed to Supplementary Condition (GC 10.1 - Taxes and Duties) to the CCDC 2MA-2023 General Conditions which sets out the process for adjustments to Contract payments where a change to custom duties or import tariffs occurs after the closing of bids.
