Finger Lakes DDSOO is an agency of the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). The community sites serve a developmentally disabled population including some individuals who are medically or physically disabled, as well as some who are confined to wheelchairs. The Contractor shall provide Heating and Air Conditioning Inspections, Start Up, and/or Maintenance and Repair/Replacement Service to each of the community sites operated by Finger Lakes DDSOO. Annual Service Inspections of air conditioning systems are to be performed between April 1st and May 15th and Annual Service Inspections of heating systems and water heaters are to be performed between August 1st and September 30th of each contract year. All miscellaneous tools, equipment, materials, and supplies (lubricants, belts, tools, test instruments, meters, filters, etc.) necessary to provide preventative maintenance (PM) shall be supplied by the Contractor and shall be included in the cost of the service program. Contractor must provide all tools and equipment required to perform repairs/replacements. OPWDD will not cover the cost of rental equipment. Contractor's personnel performing contract work in OPWDD facilities shall include at least one journeyperson level supervisory technician and additional personnel as necessary to perform the required work. The Contractor shall provide emergency service within four (4) hours after receipt of a request for such service by telephone or otherwise from the DDSOO. The DDSOO agrees to pay the Contractor for emergency service repairs at the rate set forth in the Cost Proposal. Travel charges will not be paid. Prevailing Wage will apply to all maintenance repairs, replacements, and modifications provided under this contract. The PRC number for this Contract is PRC# A copy of the Contractor's certified payroll is required to be submitted with invoices, where prevailing wages are applicable, before payment for services is rendered. Inspections, start-up, and winterization services are not covered by Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law. Location: Various locations OPWDD will select the responsible and responsive Bidder that will provide the lowest Total Annual Estimated HVAC Cost per Cluster. Vendors may bid on one or multiple clusters and multiple contracts may be awarded. OPWDD reserves the right to reject any and all offers.
