Description

Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

Provide and install bridge awning over the course of 2-day period. USCG will provide crane for installation. The bridge awning will be constructed in 3 sections and bolted together, covering the area from stbd bridge wing to port bridge wing, crossing in front of the pilothouse. The main support legs will be mounted on the bridge deck combing. The awning canvas will be fabricated with 100% woven polyester fabric, resistant to mildew and UV sunlight. The awning is sewn with non-flammable 100% fluoropolymer fiber,resistant to UV sunlight, salt water, and cleaning chemicals. The cord used to install the awnings is 1/4 inch neobraid polyester, resistant to mold, oil, and stains. The awning frame is fabricated with marine-grade anodized aluminum pipe, cut tosize. Higher-level quality standards are not needed. This requirement is not part of USCG Standardization. 3.
