Demolition, site work and renovation of a civil project in Terre Haute, Indiana. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work is generally described as follows: New Lift Station: Scope of work includes the construction of a new sanitary sewer duplex pump lift station. Work includes the installation of wet well and valve vault structures, pumps, ancillary lift station equipment, internal piping, electrical and control equipment, coordination of electrical service and system integration and site work required to complete this portion of the project as generally designed. Collection/Conveyance System: Scope of work includes the installation of approximately 380 lineal feet of 12-inch gravity sanitary sewer by the open cut method, approximately 2,400 lineal feet of 8-inch force main by the horizontal directional drill method, site restoration and all other ancillary work required to complete this portion of the project as generally designed. Demolition: Scope of work includes the demolition of the existing lift station, abandonment of existing force main, surface restorations and all other ancillary work required to complete this portion of the project as generally designed. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent of the total bid price executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. Each Bid Proposal shall also require a statement to the effect that if the Bidder is awarded the Contract, Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount not less than one hundred percent of the total bid price will be executed by an incorporated surety company in good standing and qualified to do business in the State of Indiana. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of sixty (60) days following the date set for opening Bids. The Owner reserves the right to retain all Bids for a period of not more than sixty (60) days and said Bids shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities, and to award the contract to any Bidder to the advantage of the Owner, or to reject all BIDS.
