The Town of Dresden (Town) is seeking sealed proposals for a qualified contractor to provide Snow Removal for town properties to include salting and/or sanding and shoveling to the properties. The contract is for the base year (2024-2025) plus two additional option years. Location of Properties: Location Address Dresden Fire Station #1 8 Middle Road Dresden Fire Station #2/ Pownalborough Hall 314 Patterson Road Dresden Town Office 534 Middle Road Dresden Town Hall (Old Dresden Town Office) 391 Middle Road Dresden Transfer Station/Recycling Center 375 Middle Road/Recycle Court Water Department 499 Gardiner Road Initial Term October 15, 2024 through May 15, 2025 Bidders shall direct all questions, including requests for explanations or interpretation, in writing to the Town Administrator townadmin@dresdenme.org and must be received by August 08, 2024. A question and answer summary will be provided by August 12, 2024 and will be posted on the Town's website electronically. If required by the Town, Contractor will provide a Bid Bond Guarantee within five (5) business days of bid. The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, decline to proceed with the selection of any Contractor, request additional qualifications and to make inquiries as may be necessary to verify qualifications. Nothing in this document shall require the Town to proceed with any of the identified services stated in this RFP. If the Town enters a contract for services, the Town shall have the exclusive authority to make decisions regarding any project or work readiness, compliance, and completion.
