This Request for Proposal (RFP) issued by the Delaware Department of Transportation is for the purpose of acquiring proposals from interested firms, to provide asbestos testing and sampling on structures owned by the State of Delaware, prepare scope of work and associated reports, solicit/recommend bids under the Small Purchase Procedure, monitor remedial processes, and provide clearance and final reports when necessary. The Transportation Solutions, Right of Way Section is responsible for the developing of Master Plan for the Testing, Sampling, and Abatement of asbestos containing material. The consultant will report to the Land Services Manager or the assigned designate in the Right of Way Section. All assignments will be from the Asbestos Project Manager(s) and will be on an on-call contract, meaning that the consultant could be asked to sample, test, and facilitate the abatement of numerous properties during the life of the agreement. Questions must be submitted before the due date identified in the Procurement Schedule for this RFP. All inquiries must be submitted in the Q/A section of the project listing in the online.
