Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Seattle, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Work includes, but is not limited to, 1. South Access Drive - shift drive lane approximately 4 feet north maintaining 12 foot wide lane; rebuild north vertical curb; rebuild south curb with deep curb section; new asphalt pavement; remove 2 existing trees at south edge of property; rebuild armored swale with large quarry spalls; regrade lower portion of swale to widen to the south; restore areas outside swale. 2. West Access Drive - Install new catch basin and connect to existing catch basin; restore curb; replace speed bump to direct surface flow to the new catch basin; new asphalt pavement; restore areas outside drive. All responses shall be in the form of Addenda. Addenda will be posted on KCHA's website. BID GUARANTEE: Not Required As a condition of award Performance and Payment bonds for 100% of the Contract Award Amount shall be furnished for the Work. On contracts of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000.00) or less, at Contractors option the requirement may be waived in lieu of an additional 5% (total 10%) retainage. The Work shall be completed in 30 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages will be assessed for each calendar day that the Contractor exceeds the time for completion in the amount of $250. KCHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 calendar days subsequent to the opening of the bids without the written consent of KCHA.
