The Project is located at Euclid/Ellis in Fountain Valley; Newhope/Westminster in Garden Grove; Lewis/El Prado in Orange. This Project involves the rehabilitation of manholes NHP0020-0000 (OC SAN property just outside P1), NHP0135-0000 (City of Garden Grove, immediately adjacent to City of Santa Ana city limit), and NHP0205-0000 (City of Orange, traffic control will overflow into CalTrans jurisdiction). The first two manholes will be rehabilitated using a combination of calcium aluminate and an epoxy coating. The third manhole will have a curedin-place liner installed. Traffic control is included in the project. All communications concerning this IFB must be in writing. Written questions regarding details of this IFB will be accepted (i.e., must be received) by OC SAN until 5:00 P.M. (Pacific Time Zone), September 11, 2024. Written questions must be sent by email to construction@ocsan.gov to the attention of Clarice Marcin, Senior Contracts Administrator. emails shall contain the following title in the Subject line: "PROJECT NO. FE21-08: Bidder Questions." All questions shall be submitted in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the section entitled "Bidders' Questions Submitted By Electronic Mail." Telephone questions will not be accepted. Any questions received after this date may not receive a response. A Bid Security of not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Amount of Bid will be required with each Bid and no Bid will be considered without it. The Bid Security may be in the form of cash, a cashier's or certified check payable to OC SAN, or a Surety Bond issued by a qualified corporate Surety licensed to do business in California and must be submitted using the form included in the Bid Submittal Forms.
