Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) Restroom Rehabilitation Project The Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) Restroom Rehabilitation Project consists of the complete renovation of the Baggage Claim area Men's and Women's Restrooms, the TSA area Men's, Women's and Companion Care Restrooms as well as the construction of a new Companion Care Restroom to be located on the second floor FIS holdroom area. Major work items include but are not limited to demolition of all existing finishes and fixtures and the construction and renovation of architectural features, such as walls and doors, as well as the proposed electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection work. Restrooms will receive all new flooring, walls, partitions, surfaces, ceiling, devices, sprinkler modifications, branch plumbing and fixtures. This project includes one (1) base bid and two (2) add alternates, each defined below and in the Instructions to Bidders, ITB-1, Section 1. Base Bid: Included in the base bid, the proposed renovations to the Baggage Claim area Men's and Women's Restrooms will consist of the demolition and renovation of architectural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work as depicted in the contract drawings. Add Alternate #1: Add Alternate #1 shall include the proposed renovations to the TSA area Men's, Women's, and Companion Care Restrooms, consisting of the complete demolition and proposed renovations as shown on the contract drawings. Add Alternate #2: Add Alternate #2 shall include all work as required for the proposed construction of the Second Floor FIS Area Companion Care Restroom as depicted on the contract drawings. A Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the TOTAL BID PRICE but not to exceed $20,000.00, is required to accompany all bid submissions. The Authority, in accordance with law, reserves the right to reject any or all bids either in whole or in part and also to waive any minor informality in any bid or bids so received. In order to bid this project, the bidder shall be pre-qualified under one (1) of the following NJDPMC Trade Codes: o NJDPMC Trade Code C008 - General Construction o NJDPMC Trade Code C009 - General Construction/Alterations & Additions In addition to the bidder prequalification, any subcontractor performing work on the project shall be prequalified, as applicable, under one (1) of the following NJDPMC Trade Code(s) at the time of submission: o NJDPMC Trade Code C030 - Plumbing* o NJDPMC Trade Code C032 - HVACR* o NJDPMC Trade Code C047 - Electrical* *To be declared on Subcontractor Declaration Section on.
