Reference number: 20013430 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2024-08-26 Electronic tender submission accepted Yes, via SEAO, with a document Expected contract duration without options (in months) 24 The purpose of the Société d'habitation et de développement de Montréal (SHDM) is to contribute to the economic and social development of the City of Montreal by developing real estate assets of a residential, institutional, industrial, commercial and cultural nature within its territory. The SHDM is a financially autonomous, non-profit, paramunicipal organization, mandated by the Ville de Montréal. DESCRIPTION: The mandate is to provide snow removal and spreading of abrasives and/or ice melters in parking lots, sidewalks and other areas of SHDM buildings. The Company intends to award nine (9) contracts for two winter seasons. Each of these contracts covers a defined sector and will be awarded separately to the lowest compliant bidder. The Bidder may bid for any number of sectors, but the same Bidder may be selected to perform snow removal work in a maximum of three (3) sectors. The Bid must be accompanied by at least one (1) bid security in the amount of 10% of the total amount of the Bid. If the Bidder wishes to bid for more than one sector and be awarded up to three (3) sectors, it must submit a separate bid security for each sector. Each bid bond must be valid for 90 days. A certificate of general liability insurance in the minimum amount of $2,000,000 will be required upon award of the Contract. A performance bond in the amount of $5,000, valid for the duration of the contract, will also be required upon award of the contract. Tender documents are available in French only. Tenderers must have, at the time of submission of the Tender, a business establishment in Quebec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement applicable to this call for tenders and hold the appropriate licences issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec and a valid certificate issued by Revenu Québec. Delivery schedule The term of the Contract is two (2) winter seasons, from November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2026 inclusively, with no option to renew.
