Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Victoria, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Regional trail widening and lighting project. As part of a two-stage procurement process, the Capital Regional District is requesting qualified consulting firms having experience in design and construction administration of active transportation infrastructure projects including conversion of multiuse pedestrian and cycling trails to separated use trails with lighting to respond as to their capability to provide detailed design and construction administration related to the Regional Trail Widening & Lighting Project. TIMELINE: Request for pre-qualification from design and construction administration services is closed. Preferred proponent is unreleased. Further update in late spring 2026, upon approvals. *Order of magnitude (Class D, 2020$) cost estimates have been developed for each of the trail configuration options. Option 1 is the least expensive of the three options, at approximate $10.5 million over the entire 6.6km project area. The cost of Option 2 is approximately 35% higher (approximately $14.2 million) and the cost of Option 3 is approximately 82% higher than Option 1 ($19.1 million).
