The new construction is situated behind the existing fire hall, which will remain in use during construction. This new fire station includes a bay area (designed for 6 fire trucks - 3 wide x 2 deep) (444.01 sq m / 4779.9 sq ft), utility rooms in bay area (80.518 sq m / 861.11 sq ft) and an administration area (200.67 sq m / 2152.8 sq ft). The administration area includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, a training room, a day room, a fire chief's office, an entry and storage. Work generally includes, but it not limited to, the following: site work, concrete, rough carpentry, wood trusses, insulation, metal siding, asphalt shingle roofing, vinyl composition tile flooring, painting, plumbing, HVAC (heat pump system with 7 evaporators, 2 HRVs), electric (3 phases, estimate 100 light fixtures, 13 cameras).
