The Engineer's estimate of the construction or other effectuation of all such improvements is $168,060.00 construct properly all of the improvements within the improvement generally designated INDIAN POINTE PARK IMPROVEMENTS - PHASE 4. At such hour, or as soon as practicable thereafter, the Board of Trustees of the District will proceed to open in the presence of all bidders and consider the bids received for the furnishing of such labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the proper construction of such improvements. All work called for in the drawings and specifications shall be furnished in strict accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Thompson, Dreessen & Dorner, Inc., Engineers for the District, and now filed in the office of the Clerk of the District at 8526 F Street, Omaha, NE 68127, and bids will be received only upon the proposal form furnished through the Engineer for the District. Sanitary and Improvement District No. 559 of Douglas County, Nebraska, reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject all or any bids. Each bid must be accompanied in a SEPARATE SEALED ENVELOPE by a certified check drawn on a bank whose deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in the amount of $8,400.00, payable without condition to the Treasurer, Sanitary and Improvement District No. 559 of Douglas County, Nebraska, or a bid bond for a like amount. As evidence of good faith of the bidder and as agreed upon liquidated damages to the District in the event the bidder whose proposal is accepted by the Board of Trustees of the District fails to enter into contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award and furnish acceptable bond to complete the work and pay for all labor done and materials used, such bond to be in the amount of 100% of the total bid price.
