Site work for a civil project in Keats, Kansas. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Scope: construction of a new sanitary sewer collection system, lift station, and wastewater treatment facility to address the aging individual onsite treatment systems in the Keats community. The project includes a three cell, non-discharging, HDPE lined, wastewater lagoon treatment facility. Existing septic tanks will be pumped and demolished, and all manholes, sewer mains, and service piping will be installed. As of September 2024, the project is in design. Contractor bidding is expected to commence in 2025, with construction to begin in 2026.
