Echo Canyon Dam Outlet Works Improvements. Site Address: Echo Canyon State Park. Site Directions: Approximately 13 miles East of Pioche, NV, on State Route 322. Est. Completion Date: Jan. 10, 2025. Description: Repairs to the outlet works at Echo Canyon Dam include a new outlet works slide gate, stem, vent pipe and trash rack at the inlet; repairs to concrete spalling of the principal spillway intake in the section located above ground; removal and replacement of the outlet works concrete headwall on the downstream side of the dam; construction of new rip rap stilling basin downstream of the outlet works headwall; and construction of the new culvert in the access road which crosses the downstream outlet channel.
