Waco High School Furniture Packages. The enclosed "Terms and Conditions" are an integral part of this Solicitation and will become part of any resulting contract unless deviations/exceptions are requested by the vendor with their submission and accepted by Waco ISD. A Payment Bond shall be required for individual projects over $25,000 or more and a Performance Bond shall be required on individual projects of $100,000.00 or more. Bonds shall be made and payable to and its form approved by the owner in accordance to Texas Government Code 2253.021 (a through g). Bonds will be due within 10 days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The District shall have the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, or any part thereof, and to waive any technicalities in the best interest of the District. It is the intent of the District to award a Contract to the lowest responsible Bidder provided the Bid has been submitted in accordance with the requirements of the Bid Documents and provided that vendor has been determined to offer the best value to the district. Price alone is not the determining factor in awarding bids. While the District has listed specific brands on the furniture items, we will accept alternate brands which meet or exceed the quality of the specified items. Please make certain the alternate brand is listed on the pricing worksheet. Question Are subs or alternates allowed on this bid for the line item packages Answer Yes, they are allowed on line item packages. Just be sure in the far right hand column of the pricing worksheet you list the alternate brand and item # that you are bidding. This bid has packages A-Q and is sorta by manufacture which will allow vendors to bid on individual packages. Please complete and upload all required documents to this site under "Response Attachments", as well as enter your pricing under the "Line Item" tab. This bid will be awarded to multiple vendors by package. The packages are an all or none pricing to be awarded.
