Provide all roofing materials and Install a new roof at the Town of Bell Shop, formerly known as the
Bell Firehouse, in the Town of Bell, Florida as follows:
1. Remove and dispose of existing metal roofing at Contractor's expense.
2. Repair and replace all rotten wood to include fascia, decking and truss tails.
3. Install minimum 26 gauge galvalume metal roofing panels over top of new purlins. Metal panels shall be fastened to the purlins using minimum 9 inch metal lifetime roofing screws and no more than 24 inches on center, or equivalent.
4. Install all associated flashings to include drip edge, ridge cap, pipe and vent boots, and chimney stack if any.
5. Contractor shall secure at its cost and display all necessary building permits for the project and comply with all Florida Building Codes.
6. Contractor shall provide a minimum 5 year workmanship warranty on all work performed on the project.
7. Contractor shall ensure that the project area is thoroughly clean of all construction debris at the conclusion of the project.
The location of the "Bell Shop, formerly known as the Bell Firehouse" where the new roof is to be installed is available from the Town Clerk at the Bell Town Hall.
Bidder is required to carry Liability Insurance in an amount no less than $1,000,000.00, and Worker's Compensation Coverage at State of Florida statutory minimum limits, naming the Town of Bell, Florida and the Bell Town Council as an additional insured prior to final award and commencement of the project.
