Work Location: Virginia Center for Women, 2841 River Road, Goochland, VA. 23063 The doors are located throughout the facility in the following areas: Mail Room, Mechanical Room, Major's Office, Laundry Services, Kitchen doors, Mental Health. Remove, furnish and replace the metal doors located at Virginia Center for Women, 2841 River Road, Goochland, VA. 23063. The old doors will need to be removed. New doors will need to be installed, to include door framing if necessary and existing door hardware will need to be reinstalled. The Virginia Department of Corrections is seeking a DSBSD-certified vendor to remove, furnish and replace the metal doors located at Virginia Center for Women, 2841 River Road, Goochland, VA. 23063. The old doors will need to be removed. New doors will need to be installed, to include door framing if necessary and existing door hardware will need to be reinstalled. The doors are located throughout the facility in the following areas: Mail Room, Mechanical Room, Major's Office, Laundry Services, Kitchen doors, Mental Health. The parties may agree in writing to modify the terms, conditions, or scope of the contract. Any additional goods or services to be provided shall be of a sort that is ancillary to the contract goods or services, or within the same broad product or service categories as were included in the contract award. Any increase or decrease in the price of the contract resulting from such modification shall be agreed to by the parties as a part of their written agreement to modify the scope of the contract. By entering into a contract, the contractor conveys, sells, assigns, and transfers to the Commonwealth of Virginia all rights, title and interest in and to all causes of action it may now have or hereafter acquire under the antitrust laws of the United States and the Commonwealth of Virginia, relating to the particular goods or services purchased or acquired by the Commonwealth of Virginia under said contract. The Commonwealth may make such reasonable investigations as deemed proper and necessary to determine the ability of the (bidder/offeror) to perform the services/furnish the goods and the (bidder/offeror) shall furnish to the Commonwealth all such information and data for this purpose as may be requested. The Commonwealth reserves the right to inspect (bidder's/offeror's) physical facilities prior to award to satisfy questions regarding the (bidder's/offeror's) capabilities. The Commonwealth further reserves the right to reject any (bid/proposal) if the evidence submitted by, or investigations of, such (bidder/offeror) fails to satisfy the Commonwealth that such (bidder/offeror) is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to provide the services and/or furnish the goods contemplated therein. TESTING AND INSPECTION: The Commonwealth reserves the right to conduct any test/inspection it may deem advisable to assure goods and services conform to the specifications The State reserves the right to reject any and all bids in whole or in part, to waive any informality, and to delete items prior to making an award. Question Deadline 08/23/2024 CLARIFICATION OF TERMS: If any prospective (bidder/offeror) has questions about the specifications or other solicitation documents, the prospective (bidder/offeror) should contact the buyer whose name appears on the face of the solicitation no later than five working days before the due date. Any revisions to the solicitation will be made only by addendum issued by the buyer. Event Pre-bid notes: Due to the importance of all bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications/scope of work and requirements of this solicitation, attendance at this conference will be a prerequisite for submitting a bid. Bids will only be accepted from those bidders who are represented at this prebid conference. Attendance at the conference will be evidenced by the representative's signature on the attendance roster.
