Sealed bids for the construction of The Grove Development This project consists of mass grading for approximately 20.5 acres, 2,767 linear feet of residential street construction, adjacent sidewalks, along with underground storm sewer. Also included is 2,747 feet of new 8" waterline within the subdivision as well as 559 feet of new 12" waterline along 27 th Street, and installation of 3,442 linear feet of 8" sewer line with 12 sanitary sewer manholes. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's check, a certified check or a bid bond, payable to the City of Hays, Kansas, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. The bidder to whom a contract is awarded in excess of $100,000.00 will be required to furnish a Contract Bond and Payment Bond executed on the specific forms and acceptable to the City of Hays, Kansas, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount Bid.
