Renovation of a water / sewer project in Esquimalt, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The works to be constructed under this Contract generally include, but is not limited to, the following: Upgrades to the existing Densadeg No. 1 clarifier scum collection system. This will include providing a new (or modifying the existing) scum pipe to the performance specifications enclosed, adding a spray bar to push scum toward the pipe, and providing a new actuator and worm gear assembly for the scum pipe. Work includes subsequent electrical and controls upgrades, programming, and commissioning of the new system. This work will be carried out at McLoughlin Point Wastewater Treatment Plant amidst active plant operations. Documents can be obtained from www.crd.bc.ca/about/contracts-rfps/ and www.bcbid.gov.bc.ca
