SINGLE POINT OF CONTACT. Vendors and/or their representatives shall only contact the single point of contact or use the electronic procurement system regarding this solicitation until after a notice of award (NOA) has been issued. Failure to observe this restriction may result in disqualification of a proposal per NAC 333.155(3). Prospective vendors are advised to review Nevada's ethical standards requirements, including but not limited to NRS 281A, NRS 333.800, and NAC 333.155. The State intends to award one (1) contract in conjunction with this Request for Proposals (RFP), as determined in the best interests of the State. Division of Museums and History shall administer the contract resulting from this solicitation. The resulting contract is expected to be for a contract term of approximately eight (8) months, subject to Board of Examiners approval. Contract is anticipated to begin November 13, 2024 and expire June 30, 2025. GOALS AND OBJECTIVES This project will replace coiling doors that have reached the end of their service life. Install motor openers and any residual will be used to replace man doors on annex, shop and interpretive center. Construction crew must be of the highest caliber in personal integrity as they will be working in a museum environment. Work will be accomplished while the public is visiting. All activities will comply with National Parks Service conservation recommendations. SCOPE OF WORK The completed project will install new doors in priority order. PRIORITY 1 is critical and must be replaced. Two (2) 13' x 16' insulated doors with openers on the restoration shop. One (1) 10' x 12' insulated door with opener on restoration shop. Four (4) openers on 13' x 16' doors in annex. PRIORITY 2 Replace five (5) 13' x 16' coiling doors on annex. Install opener on north annex coiling door. PRIORITY 3 Replace five (5) exterior man doors with solid core steel doors including closures and panic hardware. QUESTIONS.
