Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Norwalk, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.

The proposed project is a bridge rail surface preparation and painting project for the bridge rails on both the north and south side of the Perry Avenue bridge over Silvermine River (Bridge Number 04130). Questions posted here will not be answered. The Contractor shall be responsible for checking the City of Norwalk's website for any addenda issued one week prior to the date of the bid opening. The deadline for receipt of all guestions pertaining to this bid is 2:00 PM. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024. All guestions pertaining to this bid shall be directed to Carleen Megaro, Purchasing Agent, at Cmegaro@norwalkct.gov SCOPE OF WORK The proposed project is a bridge rail surface preparation and painting project for the bridge rails on both the north and south side of the Perry Avenue bridge over the Silvermine River (Bridge Number 04130). The proposed project will consist of the following. Removal of the existing paint from the existing bridge rail (that is to remain), including the use of a Containment Enclosure for the collection of surface preparation debris as specified. Field painting of the existing bridge rail, in place, through the use of a two (2) coat system as specified
