Request for Proposals: Municipal Contract Engineer, Design, MDOT TA Project, Sidewalks The City of Leakesville, an Equal Opportunity Employer, is soliciting Proposals from consultants to provide engineering design services. It is anticipated that the term of the contract will be through the end of the project. The city anticipates selecting a firm to provide design engineering services for the city. The selected firm will accommodate the design of a sidewalk improvement project for the city, approximately 2750 ft along Highway 63. Hwy 63 Sidewalks Receipt of Qualifications: Consulting Firms Interested in Providing These Services May Indicate by Furnishing to The City 1 Bound Copy and 1 Digital Copy of the Following: 1. A Cover Letter Specifying the Name and Complete Description of Position, the Name of the Recommended Engineer, And the Location and Address of the Office to Be Assigned the Majority of the Work; 2. A Resume for Each Principal Member, the Project Manager(S), and Employee(S) of the Firm Anticipated to Be Assigned to the City. Include Proof That the Project Manager(S) is/are Licensed as a Mississippi Professional Engineer And That the Firm Has Met State Licensure and Certification Requirements. 3. A Description of Similar Type Work Completed During the Past Five (5) Years Which Qualifies the Consultant for ThisWork; 4. A Response Containing the Information Upon Which the Consultant Will Be Evaluated. 5. A Statement or Proposal Outlining the Services Which the Firm May Provide and the Fee Basis Upon Which Those Services Would Be Provided (Including What Services May Be Provided for a Regular Retainer and What Services Would Be Provided on an as Needed Basis for an Hourly Fee (and a Schedule of the Hourly Rate for Employees or Classes of Employees Proposed to Work on Projects for the City).
