E101 Converted Office Space to Digital Dental Lab - The Dental Technology and Denturist Programs are currently limited in their ability to evolve and grow. This classroom/ lab renovation will allow the Program to meet the industry need for new technology and curriculum. The renovation would support increased enrolment in the Dental Technology program. When the classroom is not in use for dental courses, the dedicated niche/ lab area would be locked and the specialized equipment would be secure, allowing for general classroom usage of the main classroom. Overview: Scope of Services and Deliverables Compartmentalization of E101 into three distinct areas: general classroom, digital dental lab niche room, and storage room. Removal and/ or retirement of existing office furniture and equipment. Interior demolition, including lead paint removal from walls, doors and door frames. New classroom and instructor's furniture, including marker board and projection board. New IT and A/V equipment to support the classroom & lab function; hardwire data. connections to dental lab equipment are required in addition to new wireless access device. HVAC, electrical & plumbing modifications, including new lighting. Patching and repair of exterior walls and floors. New room signage and new window coverings where needed.
