Work under this contract consists of but limited to the following: .1 Abate all hazardous materials within the scope of work following legislated abatement guidelines for mould and asbestos and as directed by CBE’s environmental consultant (EHS). .2 Assess and address framing damage if discovered around rough openings during the removal of cladding and fenestrations. Provide unit pricing for repairs or replacement as outlined in the contract documents and communicate the proposed scope to the Owner. Execution is subject to Owner approval. (not part of base bid) .3 Where wood rot is present, install new wood framing as directed by the Consultant. .4 Remove and replace cladding components as identified within the contract documents. .5 Install new moisture management assemblies located within, and adjacent too, each of the rough openings of windows and at all areas where new cladding will be installed. .6 Installation of new aluminum curtain walls within designated rough openings as per the project documents. .7 Replace interior finishes inclusive of new millwork as provided within the project documents.
