Valves shall be non-rising stem Type, opening by turning left and provided with a 2" Square operating nut. Operating stem shall be Manganese bronze only. The internal diameter of the Water passageway shall, at a min. Be as large as the Connecting pipe inside diameter. All internal parts shall Be accessible without removing the main body from the Pressure line. All cast iron surfaces of the body and Bonnet shall be completely coated with a corrosion Resistant coating. Sizes as follows: This is a three (3) year contract subject to annual renewals provided all terms & conditions remain unchanged and the vendor is in agreement. Prices contained herein are subject to the below escalation/de-escalation clause. The City reserves the right to re-bid at the end of any one (1) year period. Questions must be received by the City at least four (4) working days prior to the scheduled opening.
