The Project consists of improvements to the existing septage receiving systems located at 151 Pickering Road and 245 Pickering Road, Rochester, NH. Improvements at 151 Pickering Road include two (2) new parallel septage receiving trains. Each train consists of a three (3) new buried concrete structures to provide screening, flow isolation, and flow metering. Additional improvements include new instrumentation, hauler station controls, electrical improvements, site improvements, grading and paving. Improvements at 245 Pickering Road includes new paving of the septage receiving area and access roads. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis. No other site visits will be made available without expressed written consent of the Engineer. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The project will be funded in part through the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, State Revolving Fund and the American Rescue Plan Act. The following requirements will apply 1. The successful Bidder on this work is required to comply with the President's Executive Order No. 11246 entitled "Equal Employment Opportunity" as amended by Executive Order 11375, and amendments or supplements thereto, and as supplemented in Department of Labor Regulations (41 CFR Part 60). 2. The successful Bidder on this work must demonstrate compliance with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Rule in order to be deemed a responsive bidder. 3. The successful Bidder on this work is subject to U.S. Department of Labor's Davis Bacon wage provisions. 4. The successful bidder on this work is subject to the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements of the CWSRF program.
