The scope of work consists of installation of an FIS re-check checkpoint at concourse J, third floor, and securing the exit access on the second floor. The renovation includes, but not limited to, installation of relocated equipment, inclusive of power and data connection, new GWB partitions, new checkpoint closure glass partitions and addition of a new ceiling at post security area. Dedicated Allowance has been added for smoke evacuation scope that is not shown in the drawings, but will be needed during construction. The South Terminal Cc J FIS Checkpoint Upgrade estimate includes the following: Temporary partitions. -> Selective demolition of interior finishes including GWB partitions, doors, signage, ceiling and existing storefront. -> New boundary wall full height 12''-0". -> New clear glass demountable wall 8''-0" height. -> New Storefront Door with Access Control -> New Terrazzo floor to match existing adjacent finish. -> New stacking glass wall door with recessed floor track and overhead. -> Emergency exit new door with panic hardware & access control. -> New wainscot panels. -> New LAVI Beltrac partition post with hinged frame panel. -> New folding partitions at the 3rd and 2nd levels. -> Finish and paint the existing and new walls and doors at the 3rd and 2nd levels -> Cover the interior walls with new drywall system. -> Repair Terrazzo floors at the 3rd and 2nd levels. -> Supply new LAVI crowd Stanchions and LAVI Crowd Control Panels. -> Install additional new doors. -> Install new partial suspended ceiling system. -> Relocate the existing Fire Valve Cabinet. -> Minor Sprinkler modifications. -> Plumbing for new sink. -> New LED Lighting -> Relocate the existing electrical conduits, receptacles and all wires. -> Install new electrical conduits, receptacles and all wires. -> Install new conduits and wires for data and communication systems. -> Install additional new safety and security systems. All contractors shall comply with State of Florida Department of Transportation Grant Agreement: Contract G1L51. BID GUARANTY Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty in the form of a Cashier's or certified check on any national or state bank, made payable to Miami-Dade County, Florida, or a Bid Bond equivalent to five percent (5%) of the Bid Price prepared on a form approved by the County, duly executed by the Bidder as Principal and having a Surety thereon meeting the requirements set forth in the Bid Documents. PERFORMANCE & PAYMENT BOND All Projects, where the prices received are in excess of $200,000 will require the submission of a Payment and Performance Bond as required by State of Florida Statute
